You can now check-in via text message/short message service.

Singapore Airlines is pleased to offer you our new SMS Check-in service designed to reduce hassle and offer more convenience should you be on the go. You'll be able to check-in 48 hours before your departure. You'll also be able to through check-in for your trip or check-in on your return flight. 

To take advantage of this facility, you need to register for a personal flight alerts profile which is accessible when you log in to your KrisFlyer account and access  “My Booking Alerts” . You will be able to use this service if you are a Singapore Airlines PPS Club or KrisFlyer member. Please ensure that you always quote your membership number every time you book a flight with us. If you are a registered user of the Singapore Airlines website, you will only be able to check-in for bookings made via our website.

To check-in, simply reply with the given code in the check-in notification sent from “SQAlert” and you will receive a check-in confirmation message when you are successfully checked in for yourself. 

SMS Check-in is currently available for flights operated by Singapore Airlines with the exception of flights departing from Colombo.  The service is unavailable for mobile phone subscribers in Canada, Japan, Korea and USA.

For passengers travelling out of Singapore, you must be at the airport at least 60 minutes (all flights) / 90 minutes (flights bound for USA) before your flight departure time to collect your boarding pass and check-in your bags. You may have your check-in cancelled and your seat re-assigned if you do not collect your boarding pass at least 45 minutes prior to the departure time of your flight. 

If you are departing from Singapore:

• For Terminal 2 passengers, please proceed to Row 5 (for First and Business Class Passengers) or Row 9 (for Economy Class Passengers)
• For Terminal 3 passengers, please proceed to Row 6 (for First and Business Class Passengers) or Row 4 (for Economy Class Passengers)

For all other Stations, please proceed to the respective Singapore Airlines Counter at the Airport.

The boarding gate closes 10 minutes before the flight.
