Find helpful information on baggage allowances for all three classes of service on Singapore Airlines, and a list of restricted items that are best packed in your checked baggage or left at home.

Be sure that all of your baggage is properly labelled both inside (with your name, home and full destination address, and telephone contact information) and outside (name, destination city.) Remove old destination tags and labels.

Checked Baggage
To ensure your comfort and safety on the flight, SIA restricts the number of pieces and dimensions of your cabin bag or carry-on baggage. 
Excess Baggage
Excess baggage charges will be levied across a zonal system, based on the originating region and the disembarking region.

General Baggage Restrictions
Certain items are classified as prohibited items or dangerous goods and are not allowed in the cabin, onboard, or in the hold. Before you fly, please  take note of the list of such prohibited or restricted items that are best packed in your checked baggage, left at home or sent by cargo (in the case of dangerous goods.)
