For your safety and comfort we have provided baggage allowances for each class of service. Please be sure to put identification tags or labels on your baggage, and include full contact information packed inside. Most important, ensure that you bring medication, travel documents, and valuables in your carry-on baggage. 

Passengers with checked baggage exceeding the allowance stated below will be charged for excess baggage.  Please click here for more information.

Checked Baggage - (Weight Concept)

In addition, a fully collapsible stroller or pushchair, carry-cot and infant items may be checked in without charge.		 Entitled to 20 kg of extra baggage allowance to all destinations except USA and Canada. For flights to/from USA and Canada, KrisFlyer Elite Gold members are entitled to one additional piece of checked baggage. Entitled to 100% more free baggage allowance
Business  30 kg * Passengers will incur an additional charge for any baggage exceeding the 30 kg limit. 10 kg

First Two pieces, the sum of the three dimensions (length + width + height) of each piece must not exceed 158 cm (62 in.) The weight of each piece is limited to 23 kg. 

Infants are entitled to one piece. In addition, a fully collapsible stroller or pushchair, carry-cot and infant items may be checked in without charge.		 KrisFlyer Elite Gold members are entitled to 1 extra piece of checkin baggage in any class of travel. PPS Club members are entitled 100% more free baggage allowance in any class of travel.  In other words, they are entitled to 4 pieces of checkin bags under the piece concept.

Economy Two pieces, of baggage are allowed. The total dimension (length + width + height) of both pieces must not exceed 273 cm (107 in) and the outside linear dimensions of each bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 in.) The weight of each piece is limited to 23 kg.

Infants are entitled to one piece.  In addition, a fully collapsible stroller or pushchair, carry-cot and infant items may be checked in without charge.		 KrisFlyer Elite Gold members are entitled to 1 extra piece of checkin baggage in any class of travel. PPS Club members are entitled 100% more free baggage allowance in any class of travel.  In other words, they are entitled to 4 pieces of checkin bags under the piece concept.
Customers will still continue to enjoy a two-piece free allowance. Excess baggage will be continued to be levied on a per-piece basis.

Baggage Weight Limitations
In accordance with the local occupational safety rules, passengers travelling to and from AUSTRALIA, BRUNEI, NEW ZEALAND, SOUTH AFRICA, SRI LANKA, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES and UNITED KINGDOM, please note that your checked baggage cannot exceed 32 kg per piece**.

Passengers are required to re-pack their baggage if the baggage weight exceeds the above-stipulated limitation per piece. Heavy machinery or spare parts that exceeds the indicated weight above would not be uplifted as baggage to and from these countries.

**Passengers should note that this 'physical' baggage weight limitation at 32kg is an issue relating to Occupational Health Safety and is NOT your baggage allowance.  Your checked baggage allowance is as shown on top of this page,and also shown on your tickets. Any excess baggage above your allowance will be charged.
