Paper-free Flying
Electronic tickets (E-Tickets) streamline your travel experience. An electronic ticket is no different from a paper ticket – the ticket information is stored within the secure Singapore Airlines system. No more worries about losing your tickets; travel changes are easy.

E-Tickets can be purchased using credit card or debit card and will be issued to the payment card holder only. However, the payment card holder may purchase an E-Ticket for another person if both passengers travel together.

When purchasing your E-Ticket you will be required to provide the following information:
  • Credit card/ Debit card details
  • Full name, Email address, and contact number
A receipt with your travel and billing details will be emailed, faxed, or mailed to you. When you arrive at the airport, simply present your passport and the payment card you used to purchase the E-ticket at the check-in counter for your boarding pass. We recommend that you bring along the E-ticket receipt on your travel in case you are requested to present it to Immigration or any third party.

Ticketing Time Limit
When a booking is made via our local SIA office or Travel Agents, there is a Ticketing Time Limit set for that booking. This means that the booking has to be ticketed or paid by a certain date, failing which the booking will be cancelled automatically. Your agent will advise you of this date and you are encouraged to ask when in doubt.

When the Ticketing Time Limit for a booking is exceeded, no penalty will be imposed. However, it would mean that you will have to re-book your itinerary (subject to seat availability), if you still wish to travel. You are thereby encouraged to firm up your travel plans and make your payments for tickets early.

Please also take note that Ticketing Time Limit is NOT applicable for Internet bookings.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Lost Tickets
A cancellation, refund, or lost-ticket fee may be levied in some cases. Please check with your local SIA office or your travel agent for details.

Certain restrictions on refund recipients and time limits may apply. Please refer to your local SIA office, your travel agent, or the terms and conditions accompanying your ticket for the specific limits of your ticket.

Taxes or Charges
Any taxes or charges imposed by government regulations are additional to the fare and payable by customers, either with the fare or in local currency on arrival or departure.

Reconfirmation
Passengers do not need to reconfirm onward or return flights on SIA. However, if your itinerary includes flights on other airlines, ask your travel agent if you need to reconfirm the non-SIA flights. If you want to change your travel plans or are unable to travel as ticketed, please contact your travel agent or your local SIA office. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of other bookings in your itinerary.
