Punctuality
Your flight departing and arriving on time is very important to us, and to all our customers.
Please plan to be at the boarding gate no later than 15 minutes to the departure time. 
Visas
Well-organized travel documents are your passport to a snag-free trip. Please make sure you take all relevant travel documents with you to the airport. Before you fly, contact the embassy or consulate office of the country to which you will be travelling for information on passport, visa, or entry requirements.
Code-Share Flights
SIA code-shares with a number of airlines as Star Alliance members or through commercial arrangements. An SQ code-share flight will have a four-digit SQ flight number although the flight is operated by another airline.

When you travel on a code-share flight, you will be informed of the airline operating your flight. Note that applicable restrictions and entitlements are subject to the rules of the operating carrier.

Travel Advice
SIA or its agents will gladly provide you with information on travel documents for your journey. However, you should ensure that these documents are in order. SIA is not liable for the consequences arising from improper or incomplete travel documents.
Baggage
Travelling light is always easier, but not always possible. Get information on baggage allowances for all three classes of service. And learn about baggage restrictions (what is and what is not allowed) and our exclusive on-the-ground porter services.

Mobile Services
On the go? Carry SIA in your pocket. You can access up-to-date information on flight alerts, flight arrivals and departures, and KrisFlyer services via your Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), WAP phone and iMode phone. Mobile applications makes it possible, we make it happen.
E-Tickets
Electronic Ticket (E-Tickets) are just like paper tickets. We store your ticket information for you, so your details are always at your fingertips. No more worries about losing your tickets, and travel changes are easy.
Meal Request
Take dining to new heights. If you are travelling in First or Business Class, refer to our established Book The Cook program and order in advance a premium cuisine main course from an extensive selection of fine a-la carte dishes. At the same time, choose for your young travel companion a truly Yummy! meal from our wide variety of specially designed meals for children. And for those in all classes with dietary, religious, or medical needs, choose one of our satisfying special meals.
Seat Request
We do our best to keep you comfortable in the seat of your choice during your travel with us. Seat selection service varies among classes of service, so be sure to book the seat that is right for you.
Special Needs
Whether you need information on special assistance, unaccompanied minors, or travelling with infants and children – know that we are committed to assuring a safe, enjoyable, trouble-free journey. Please let us know about your travel needs at the time of booking.
Well Being
Taking care of yourself in the air is as important as on the ground. Get information on how to manage stress while flying, which food and beverages will leave you feeling refreshed upon arrival, pregnancy, medical conditions, and general health regulations. Travel in wellness.
Pets
SIA welcomes in-cabin travel for service animals, and climate-controlled cargo travel for other pets. Advance arrangements for pet travel are required. Please alert SIA* or your travel agent at the time of booking that you will be travelling with your pet to assure an easy journey for all.
