Ticketing

Paper-free Flying
With Singapore Airlines electronic tickets (E-Tickets), you will no longer need to worry about forgetting or losing your ticket, as the ticket information is stored within a secure Singapore Airlines system. This means that you will no longer have to collect paper tickets when you make a ticket purchase via any sales channels.

Once the booking process is completed, an E-Ticket receipt, which has all your booking details on it, will be sent to your preferred email address. You may then access the “My Bookings” portal on singaporeair.com at your own time and convenience to select your favourite seats, meals or even change your itineraries. We recommend that you bring along the E-Ticket receipt when you travel, in case you are requested to present it at immigration or other authorities.

When you arrive at the airport, simply present your passport and the payment card you used to purchase the E-Ticket at the check-in counter for your boarding pass. Or you may check-in online, up to 48 hours in advance, and print your own boarding passes in the comfort of your home or office.

All this with just a few clicks of the mouse, before going to the airport.

Note:
E-Tickets can be purchased using a credit card or debit card, and will be issued to the payment card holder only. The payment cardholder may purchase an E-Ticket for another person if both passengers travel together. However, if the payment cardholder is not one of the travelling party, bring the credit/debit card to the nearest Singapore Airlines ticketing office to have it verified before travelling.

Ticketing Time Limit
When a booking is made via our local Singapore Airlines office or travel agents, there is a Ticketing Time Limit set for that booking. This means that the booking has to be ticketed or paid by a certain date, failing which the booking will be cancelled automatically. The reservation staff or your agent will be able to advise you of this date and you are encouraged to ask when in doubt.

When the Ticketing Time Limit for a booking is exceeded, the booking will be cancelled automatically without any penalty charges. If you still wish to travel, you will have to re-book your itinerary and this is subject to seat availability. For your own convenience, do firm up your travel plans and make your payments for tickets early.

Please also take note that Ticketing Time Limit is not applicable for Internet bookings, as payment has to be made immediately in order to confirm the booking.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Lost Tickets
A cancellation, refund, or lost-ticket fee may be levied in certain cases. Certain restrictions on refund time limits and recipients are also applicable.

Please check with your local Singapore Airlines office or travel agent, on the terms and conditions accompanying your ticket and the specific limits of your ticket.

Taxes or Charges
Any taxes or charges imposed by government regulations are additional to the fare and payable by customers, either with the fare or upon arrival or departure in local currency.

Reconfirmation
Passengers do not need to reconfirm onward or return flights on Singapore Airlines. However, if your itinerary includes flights on other airlines, do ask your travel agent if you need to reconfirm the non-Singapore Airlines flights.

If you want to change your travel plans or are unable to travel as ticketed, please contact your travel agent or your local Singapore Airlines office. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of other bookings in your itinerary.
