We offer the following forms of payment on our website:

Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners.
Debit Card: Visa and Mastercard.

Payment by American Express is not offered for travel originating from Pakistan, China and South Africa due to processing constraints.

Payment by American Express and Diners are not offered for travel originating from Russia and Sri Lanka..

The applicable cards will be presented for your selection at the payment screen. Customer must use only his or her own credit card for the first or third party bookings.

Virtual or single-use cards will not be accepted. For non-redemption bookings, your credit/debit card will need to be presented during check-in or ticket collection for purpose of verification.

Are my payment details secure when making an online booking?
We use industry standard secure encryption software called SSL (Secure Socket Layer). SSL works by encrypting all communications between your computer and the Singapore Airlines web server so the information (including your credit card number, name and address) cannot be intercepted by unwanted parties. To ensure the highest standard of security, Singapore Airlines will only allow bookings to be made when passengers use browsers that support SSL.

Why does the fare amount printed on the ticket differ from the amount that I was quoted?
Due to certain market conditions, the price quoted on the paper ticket may differ from the amount that was quoted and billed to your credit card. Please be assured that Singapore Airlines will bill you for the exact amount that was quoted on our website.

Why did my booking fail after I submitted my credit card details?
Singapore Airlines makes use of a real-time reservation system, used by our offices and travel agents around the world. Flight availability changes dynamically, and seats that were available during flight selection may be taken up at the point of payment.

Ticketing

Which ticketing methods are available?
We issue Electronic Ticket (ET) for all the booking made on singaporeair.com. From 1 May 2008, we have stopped issuing any paper ticket for bookings done on singaporeair.com. For each booking, you will be required to show your credit card used for purchase at the airport or city ticket office. Do note that if the credit card is not produced for verification, SIA reserves the right to deny the ticket holder(s) from boarding. For redemption bookings, credit card verification is not required upon check-in or ticket collection.

What is Electronic Ticketing?
Electronic Ticketing (E-Ticketing) is a simple and convenient ticketing service that stores your reservations and the flight coupons of your ticket on Singapore Airlines' database. There is no paper ticket to misplace, lose, or forget. E-Ticketing is available up to the commencement of flight check-in (usually 3 to 6 hours before flight departure). If you need a receipt of your E-Ticket, you can print it from the Booking Confirmation page. We recommend that you print a receipt of your booking in case you need to show proof of purchase to Immigration or any other third party.

How do I use the E-Ticket I purchased?
At check-in, just show your valid passport and the credit card you used to purchase your Electronic Tickets to receive your boarding pass(es). However, do note that if the credit card is not produced for verification, SIA reserves the right to deny the ticket holder(s) from boarding.

What should I do if I lose the credit/debit card used to purchase my ticket and this is needed for check-in?
Please go to your nearest Singapore Airlines Ticketing office to purchase a new ticket and refund the old ticket.

What should I do if my bank has issued me a new credit/debit card to replace the one used to purchase my ticket?
Please go to your nearest Singapore Airlines Ticketing office to purchase a new ticket and refund the old ticket.

What should I do if I terminate the credit/debit card that I used to purchase my ticket?
Before you terminate, please bring your credit/debit card to the nearest Singapore Airlines Ticketing office to have it verified. You will then no longer be required to present your credit/debit card during check-in.

What should I do if my credit/debit card expires before I commence my travel?
