KrisFlyer Membership and Services

You can nominate any individual to be your Redemption Nominee. A child or infant nominee is treated as an adult and will require the same number of KrisFlyer miles for awards. A corporation or other such legal entity cannot be a Redemption Nominee.

If you already have an existing list of redemption nominees, you can redeem flight awards for them by visiting the Online Redemption Booking page. After selecting the origin and destination cities, travel dates and the number of passengers in the travelling group, you will be asked to choose your preferred flight(s) and to indicate whether you are part of the travelling party.

If you are redeeming for your nominee(s), you will then be asked to select the specific nominees for whom you would like to redeem the award ticket for, and their details before proceeding to make the relevant payment.

For offline bookings, please complete the Reservation and Miles Top up Request and fax your form to KrisFlyer Membership Services.

If you do not already have a list of redemption nominees, you can nominate up to five family members or friends here

KrisFlyer membership is open to individuals only. Miles cannot be combined or pooled as KrisFlyer’s accrual and redemption structure are designed to meet the needs of the individual traveller earning miles to redeem for himself and/or his nominee(s).

If the combining or pooling of miles is allowed, the accrual and redemption model would need to be reworked. Furthermore, this would also introduce greater complexity to the KrisFlyer programme.

The miles you earn when you use the services of our KrisFlyer partners need to be verified and authenticated by our partners first. With this additional check in place, it takes a longer time before the miles can be credited to your account.

For our airline partners, it could take up to four weeks from the date of your flight for the miles to be credited. For all other non-air partners, please allow six to eight weeks for the miles to be credited to your account.

Quote your KrisFlyer Membership Number at the time of reservation and present your KrisFlyer Membership Card at check-in, or when taking advantage of our partners’ services. Please check with the relevant partners for any additional requirements.

Yes, you may claim for flights taken up to 6 months prior to your enrolment. Simply login and provide your full name, flight number and destination to claim your miles.

For completely unused award tickets, your KrisFlyer miles may be re-deposited into your account for a nominal fee, provided the miles are still valid at the time they are re-deposited. However, partially used award tickets cannot be reissued and the KrisFlyer miles redeemed for them cannot be re-deposited into your account.

The ticket will be refunded within four to six weeks, and a service fee of US$75 per ticket may apply.

Airport taxes will be refunded either by credit card or cheque. Please note that it will take seven working days, excluding delivery time, to process the refund.

There is no refund for partially used tickets.

From the date of your upgrade to the next higher membership tier or renewal of your current Elite tier, it will take up to four weeks before you receive your new welcome kit and KrisFlyer Membership Card.

As fulfillment is carried out in Singapore, it takes a slightly longer period for the kits to be delivered overseas.

You can request for a replacement card by calling KrisFlyer Membership Services. The replacement will cost a nominal fee of 1,000 miles or US$10. This service fee is waived for KrisFlyer Elite and PPS Club members.

Your Elite membership period is for 12 months and that is reflected in your account statement.
The expiry date on your membership card is 1 month after the end of your membership period so that you will not be inconvenienced by holding an expired card before a new one is received. However, if there is a status change, the benefits of the new tier will take effect at the start of the new membership year and not at the end of the card expiry date.
