Redeeming KrisFlyer Miles

 

 



 

Yes, you can nominate up to five family members and friends for whom you can redeem your KrisFlyer miles for flight awards. Simply login to add or change your Redemption Nominees online, or download and complete a Redemption Nomination form.

KrisFlyer members under 17 years of age are not eligible to redeem their miles for award tickets online, unless a Redemption Nominee above 18 years old is travelling with him/her on the same flight.

Online Redemption Booking cannot be done for a child below 12, if he/she is travelling alone. To redeem for a child under 12 travelling alone, please contact KrisFlyer Membership Services.

If you make your redemption booking online at www.krisflyer.com you can subscribe to receive the Redemption Waitlist Alert  here  , where you can choose to be notified via text messaging or email when your waitlist is confirmed.

When you are notified of the waitlist confirmation, all you have to do is login with your membership number and PIN at www.krisflyer.com and click on “My Services” at the top of the page, followed by “My Booking” to ticket your booking within the time limit stated. If your booking is not confirmed by the ticketing time given, then it will be cancelled.

The above applies if you have made your redemption booking online. If you make your redemption booking via KrisFlyer Membership Services, you will have to call KrisFlyer Membership Services to check on your waitlist status.



You can change the flight date and time of redemption bookings online.
Other changes can only be done via KrisFlyer Membership Services, and this will render your ticket ineligible for the 15% online redemption booking discount.

There is no refund for, or re-issuance, of partially used tickets.

However, changes to the date, route or carrier airline can be made as long as the ticket has not been used.

Please note the following:
- There is no charge for changes to the date of your Singapore Airlines or SilkAir flights.
- There will be a charge of 2,000 KrisFlyer miles or US$20 for changes to the route of your Singapore Airlines or SilkAir flights.
- There will be a charge of 2,000 KrisFlyer miles or US$20 for changes to the date, route or carrier on your flights on our partner airlines.



If the ticket for your redemption booking has been issued, but it has not been used, please call KrisFlyer Membership Services to cancel the booking. Miles will only be re-deposited into your KrisFlyer account if they are still valid and have not expired.

A service fee will apply, and is chargeable at 5,000 KrisFlyer miles / USD50 for KrisFlyer members, or 2,500 miles / USD25 for KrisFlyer Elite and PPS Club members.

If the cancellation of ticket is within 24 hours of the scheduled flight departure, a cancellation fee of 7,500 miles / USD75 will also apply, in addition to the service fee above.



The miles top-up will always be charged in SGD (regardless of your location) but the amount will be shown in US Dollars online. Associated taxes and surcharges will be charged in your local currency.

No, for redemption awards, the credit card holder need not be part of the travelling group.

Payment for the miles top-up and associated taxes and fees must be made with the same credit card.

Online purchase of miles is currently not available for upgrades.
