When you apply for your card and your application is approved by 30 September 2008, you will receive a discount of up to 35,000 miles on flight awards. You can save:

up to 65% on the number of miles required for two Economy Saver flight awards to destinations such as the Philippines and Myanmar;
up to 25% on the number of miles required for two Economy (unrestricted) flight awards to destinations such as Thailand and Vietnam; or
up to 50% on the number of miles required for an upgrade award, from Economy Class to Business Saver, or from Business Class to First Saver.

American Express Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Gold Credit Card members who charge S$5,000 or more to their Card between 1 January 2008 and 31 December 2008 will receive an extra 50% of the total number of KrisFlyer miles earned from their total spending during the qualifying period. Not applicable to bonus or additional KrisFlyer miles earned on promotional or selected purchases. The bonus miles will be credited to your KrisFlyer account from February 2009. To qualify, your Card account must be in good standing and not be cancelled for any reason. Charges accumulated in 2007 are not eligible for the 2008 bonus miles programme.
