The Star Alliance Co-Location airports where all member carriers come together in one terminal, under one roof, means much faster connections between flights. For instance, at Terminal One at Narita International Airport in Japan, waiting times have been cut by over 50%.

It’s also faster for you because there is a conveniently located transfer centre, where tickets can be re-issued. Information about you and your baggage is shared so misconnections are more likely to be minimised. There also common check-in and ticketing desk to help make your journey even easier.

Furthermore, because the ground staff are more aware and dedicated to the needs of Star Alliance member carrier customers - you’ll receive greater familiarity and recognition.

Plus, if you’re a Star Alliance Gold member, you’ll get through the airport even faster via your own priority check in area. And at some airports, there are bespoke Star Alliance lounges, so you can enjoy the time you’ve saved, rather than rushing about like in other airports.
