IMPORTANT INFORMATION
 PNR LOCALISATION
Once the passenger has flown the first flight segment on Singapore Airlines (SQ)/SilkAir (MI) and contacted the airline en-route (e.g. for reconfirmation of flights), the PNR may be localised. A vendor remark will be sent to you, should you try to amend a localised PNR: "PNR LOCALISED - CONTACT AIRLINE OFFICE FOR UPDATES".

IMPORTANT: ONCE THE PNR HAS BEEN LOCALISED, ALL MODIFICATIONS MUST BE PROCESSED BY THE AIRLINE. CRS ENTRIES RELATED TO FLIGHTS WON'T BE TRANSMITTED TO THE AIRLINE SYSTEM ANYMORE! (THIS, TO AVOID SIMULTANEOUS CHANGES AND CROSS-AMENDMENTS)

Reconfirmation of flights on Singapore Airlines/SilkAir does cause a PNR localisation. It is not required to reconfirm flights on Singapore Airlines/SilkAir. However, we recommend you do insert a local contact as OSI field in the PNR, to allow Singapore Airlines/SilkAir to contact passenger in case of schedule changes.
