Seat Requests

Business and First Class: Specific seat selection is available at the time of booking on all SQ flights, except those between SIN and KUL, as well as on all flights operated by MI. Kindly pull up the seat map for the flights and assign the actual seat numbers for the passenger.

Waitlist for specific seat for PPS- and Solitaire-Members, travelling in Business or First Class:
Should the prefered seat not be available at time of booking, please assign an alternative seat and send the PNR with the desired seat number to: zrh_waitlist@singaporeair.com.sg

Economy Class: Generic seat request can be indicated in the booking on all SQ flights, except those between SIN and KUL, as well as on all flights operated by MI.

Types of generic seat requests:

  • NSSW = non smoking seat window
  • NSSA = non smoking seat aisle
  • NSST = non smoking seat*
  • NSSB = non smoking seat bulkhead
  • BSCT = bassinet

* NSST entry is not required, in case PNR does contain several passengers. please indicate applicable entry for window/aisle only, as the other passenger(s) automatically  will be seated next to the other passenger(s).
e.g. 3-seater - PNR containing 3 passengers: 1st passenger NSSW, 2nd passenger NSSA, 3rd passenger no entry required // 4-seater - PNR containing 4 passengers: 1st and 2nd passenger NSSA, 3rd and 4th passenger no entry required.

Please note, that generic seats are not guaranteed and may remain pending in your PNR. Investigation for confirmation is not required. All requests are on a first come-first serve basis.

  • Emergency seats: requests for emergency seats will no longer be entertained. These seats will be assigned at airport check-in only, after verification if passenger is eligible to be seated on an emergency exit row seat.
  • Bassinet: seat request should be related to passenger (mother), who is traveling with the infant.
    Bassinet dimensions: 76cm  x 29cm x 20cm  and can support a maximum weight of 14kg.
  • More legroom: no specific seats are available for more legroom. we recommend to book an aisleseat.
