Submission and Processing of a Claim :
1. A claim must be submitted within 24 hours from the time the subject ticket is purchased.
2. Singapore Airlines (“SIA”) will contact the passenger within 72 business hours of a submission of claim.
3. All claims must be made via the online claim form. Claims made via any other channels will not be processed.

Eligible Claims
4. The Best Fare Guarantee (the “Guarantee”) is only applicable to tickets purchased on www.singaporeair.com for travel originating from Hong Kong on itineraries wholly operated by SIA.
5. The allegedly lower fare must be for identical:
5.1 itinerary;
5.2 travel date;
5.3 flight number;
5.4 booking class; and
5.5 any other flight restrictions
to the ticket purchased by the passenger on www.singaporeair.com.
6. The allegedly lower fare must be capable of being found on any other travel agency websites with real-time online booking facility run by travel agencies approved by IATA on the same day the ticket is purchased.
7. The claim will be processed only if the difference between the two aforementioned fares is larger than HKD20.
8. The Best Fare Guarantee does not apply in circumstances where the "lower" fare is the result of a pricing error made by a party other than Singapore Airlines.

Refunds and Crediting of Miles
9. Upon verification of a successful claim, the claimant will receive both the fare difference and 5,000 KrisFlyer miles.
10. Refund of the fare difference in a successful claim will be made to the credit card used to purchase the subject ticket within seven weeks from the date the claim is verified.
11. The 5,000 KrisFlyer miles will also be credited to the claimant’s KrisFlyer account within seven weeks of the claim being verified.  It is the responsibility of the claimant to ensure that they have an active KrisFlyer account at the time the credit is processed.
12. The KrisFlyer miles cannot be substituted by any other item, currency or deposited into any other frequent flyer program.

Exclusions
13. The Guarantee does not apply to the following fares:
13.1  fares unavailable to the general public;
13.2  vacation package fares; and
13.3  fares exclusive to SIA KrisFlyer members.


Other Terms
14. SIA reserves the right to deny claims in event that they cannot be reasonably verified or the passenger is unable to provide reasonable evidence substantiating the claims upon request by SIA.
15. SIA reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Guarantee at any time without prior notice.
