With 855 airports in 155 countries across the world, the Star Alliance network will fit into your plans rather than the other way around. There are 3 fare levels, allowing you to travel up to 29,000, 34,000 or 39,000 flying miles. So you only pay for what you use.

Star Alliance 1 - 29,000 flying miles
Star Alliance 2 - 34,000 flying miles

The entire journey must not exceed 24 sectors.

Stopovers
Minimum of 3 stopovers, maximum of 15 stopovers. Only one stopover is permitted in any one city.

No more than 3 stopovers permitted in any one country worldwide. Exception: 5 stopovers are permitted within USA.

Within New Zealand, you may only make a stopover at your international departure/arrival point.

Reservations
You may purchase your ticket (for the entire journey) at any time prior to your departure. Reservations for flights up to and including the first international flight must be made prior to departure. You may book your other flights at any time.

Where First/Business class is not offered/available passengers will be accomodated in the next lower class without compensation or refund.

Routing/Re-routing
a) Before Departure: Re-routing/rebooking is permitted.
b) After Departure: Rerouting/rebooking is permitted with the exception of those sectors up to and including the first international flight. Subsequent sectors may be altered at no charge, however a fee of USD75 per transaction will be charged if you make a change requiring the reissue of your ticket.
c) Mileage of your new routing must be recalculated from the point of origin.
d) Credit towards further transaction: Tickets may be upgraded to a higher RWSTAR fare upon payment of the difference in fares recalculated from the point of origin plus a rerouting charge of USD75.

Cancellation/Refunds
a) Before Departure: A cancellation fee applies - please ask your travel agent.
b) After Departure: The refund, if any, will be the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare for the journey completed. A cancellation fee applies.

Children and Infant Fares
Accompanied child aged 2 - 11 years and occupying a seat: 75% of the adult fare.
Unaccompanied child aged 2 - 11 years: not accepted.
Infant aged under 2 years and occupying a seat: 75% of the adult fare.
Infant aged under 2 years and not occupying a seat: 10% of the adult fare.
