Climate : High temperatures throughout the year. April is warmest and September is the wettest. From November through April, there is less rain and temperatures are slightly cooler.

Best time to go: Winter (December and January) is the best time to visit Phnom Penh. Rainy season stretches from April to October, while February and March are hot.

Flavours: Cambodian cuisine is closely related to Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. Rice is the principal staple. Also look out for al fresco French diner and freshly baked baguettes.
