Why Book Online?

 

Singapore Airlines has a host of Online Services in order to make your travel experience with Singapore Airlines easier and simpler. We have listed some of the features and tips which you can use when planning and taking your next trip with Singapore Airlines.

Online Booking
  • Booking online enables you to view flight availability and fares through our new and improved booking matrix, displaying the best value fares for your chosen and closest dates. 
  • The Booking Matrix displays two days on either side of your selected departure and return dates, giving you a single view of up to 25 days of our lowest available fares. Just switching your desired travel dates by a day or two can amount to substantial savings.  When you see the fare you like, just click it to move to the next step, selecting your flight(s). Please note that prices quoted in the grid do NOT include any airline fees, such as fuel and insurance surcharges, and also do not include government taxes and fees.
  • As you go through our online booking process, you will need to enter your billing telephone number. Please enter your telephone number with the proper country code. Please have your passport available (and of those traveling with you) when booking online, as it will speed your check-in at the airport.
  • It also allows you to book your desired dates and pay online, with your E-Ticket being issued and e-mailed to you instantly. Some destinations require a paper ticket and you will be prompted accordingly.
  • Singaporeair.com is a safe and secure website, verified by Verisign.
  • You can select you seat preference via an interactive aircraft seat plan, allowing you to select your preferred seat position and receive your seat number instantly (ONLY AVAILABLE ONLINE). For more information click here.
  • Any dietary or religious meal requirements can be booked, including First & Raffles Class passengers  being able to select from a wide range of meal options through our “Book the Cook” facility. For more information click here.


Internet Check-In
  • Internet check-in enables you to check-in from 48 hours up to 2 hours for all flights in our network with the exception of flights departing from Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Colombo, Ho Chi Minh City, Kolkata and Mumbai.
  • It enables you to select your preferred seat position and receive your seat number instantly, or amend an earlier seat selection.
  • There is a dedicated Internet check-in desk at Heathrow and Manchester to speed you check-in experience. 


Mobile Service
The following services are available for PPS Club, KrisFlyer members and registered users of the Singapore Airlines’ website:
  • You will be pleased to know that we have introduced a new “My Flights Alerts” profile, which you can register and choose from a list of alerts (flight departure, seat waitlist confirmation for First and Raffles Class bookings, check in notification and confirmation, etc) that will be tagged to your bookings. What’s more, you will be able to inform up to 2 persons of your flight departure and flight arrival. With your Flight Alerts Profile, you will be informed of the latest flight developments. You can also enjoy up to 30 pre-specified flight alerts with our Flight Alerts service.
  • You can now save valuable time with our convenient SMS check-in when you register for this service through the Singapore Airlines website. Upon receiving a SMS check-in notification, simply reply with the code provided. You will receive a confirmation via SMS if your check-in is successful.
  • By using your AvantGo, PQA (Palm Web Clipping Application) and iMode applications, you can access your account details, stay informed of the latest promotions and access KrisFlyer and PPS Club contact numbers. For added convenience, you can also download the seasonal flight timetable to your Personal Digital Assistant using the Singapore Airlines’ Avenge channel.
  • Our Flight Alert service allows you to select the alerts (flight departure and flight arrival) you wish to receive. You can receive up to 15 pre-specified flight alerts via email or SMS to your mobile phone, iMode phone or any e-mail enabled device.
