1. How can I track my Special Upgrade Points?
Your Special Upgrade Points can be viewed when you log in at My Account from 20 Apr 2009 onwards.

2. Will I be eligible for this promotion if I deposit my miles earned by flying Singapore Airlines to an airline partner's frequent flyer programme?
Yes you will. All you need to do is to ensure that your account profile is updated with the membership numbers of your membership in the frequent flyer programmes of KrisFlyer airline-partners. To do so, after you login to your KrisFlyer account, click on 'My Account'. It is part of the Optional Information category. You should also provide your selected frequent flyer programme's membership number when you make your booking.

If your miles are not credited to your KrisFlyer account, the Special Upgrade Points earned for that flight will not be included in the Special Upgrade Points indicator on My Account, but will only be accounted for in July 2009.

3. I seem to have missing Special Upgrade Points for eligible flights. Why does this happen and what must I do?
There could be several reasons for these missing flights. Please refer to the KrisFlyer Membership Services FAQ to find out the possible reasons and what you can do to make a retroactive claim for these flights, if applicable. Note that if you choose to deposit your miles to an airline partner's frequent flyer programme as described in FAQ 2, the Special Upgrade Points earned for that flight will not be included in the Special Upgrade Points indicator on My Account, but will only be accounted for in July 2009.

4. When and how will I be informed about my Special Upgrade Voucher(s)?
You will receive an email by 16 Jul 2009 if you have earned at least one Special Upgrade Voucher. Detailed instructions on how you can redeem the Special Upgrade Voucher(s) online will also be provided.

5. I need to make flight date change(s) to my ticket which has been upgraded with my Special Upgrade Voucher. How should I go about it?
Flight date change(s) can be made as long as the upgraded ticket has not been used. There are no charges associated with flight date change(s). However, if the flight date change is within 24 hours of the scheduled flight departure, a service fee of 7,500 miles/USD75 will apply. Please call KrisFlyer Membership Services to make the changes.

6. I would like to cancel my ticket which has been upgraded with my Special Upgrade Voucher. How should I go about it?
You can cancel your upgraded ticket as long as it has not been used. Please call KrisFlyer Membership Services to cancel the booking. If the cancellation is within 24 hours of the scheduled flight departure, a cancellation fee of 7,500 miles/USD75 will apply.

7. I need to make route change(s) to my upgraded ticket redeemed from the Special Upgrade Voucher. Can I do so?

Yes. However Commercial terms and Conditions apply. Please call KrisFlyer Membership Services for assistance.

8. Can Singapore Airlines extend the validity period of my Special Upgrade Voucher(s)?
No. The Special Upgrade Vouchers must be redeemed between 16 Jul 2009 and 29 Nov 2009 for travel to be completed by 30 Nov 2009.

9. Can my family use my Special Upgrade Voucher(s) to upgrade eligible flights on Singapore Airlines?
Yes, you can nominate up to five family members and friends for whom you can redeem your Special Upgrade Voucher(s). Simply login to add or change your Redemption Nominees online, or download and complete a Redemption Nomination form.

10. Can I be waitlisted on one or more of the segments of the flight I choose to upgrade?
Yes. Please call KrisFlyer Membership Services for assistance.

11. Can I split 1 round-trip Special Upgrade Voucher for 2 separate one-way flights ?
The round-trip Special Upgrade Voucher can only be used once in its entirety and cannot be split.
