1. This special upgrade offer is open to all Singapore Airlines customers. To enjoy this offer, customers need to enrol as a KrisFlyer member. Existing KrisFlyer members will automatically earn Special Upgrade Points in addition to KrisFlyer miles.

2. Membership numbers must be quoted when booking Singapore Airlines flights in order to earn Special Upgrade Points.

3. The qualifying travel period is from 1 Apr 2009 till 30 Jun 2009 on all Singapore Airlines flights except SQ1000 to SQ9999.

4. Special Upgrade Points are earned on mileage-accruable flights on Singapore Airlines and are based on the distance travelled, in miles, as indicated by the KrisFlyer accrual charts and Accrual Calculator. Most booking fares are mileage accruable. However, some booking fares, such as Economy Class tickets issued in V, Q, G, N or T booking classes on Singapore Airlines are ineligible for mileage accrual. Please check with your travel agent before making a reservation to determine the eligibility of your booking fare for mileage accrual. For bookings on singaporeair.com, this will be stated in the fare conditions.

5. Special Upgrade Points earned will be numerically equivalent to the KrisFlyer miles earned in Economy Class, Business Class, First Class and Singapore Airlines Suites respectively, excluding tier bonuses.

6. Special Upgrade Points are earned, tracked and converted separately and independently from KrisFlyer mileage and PPS Club Value.

7. Special Upgrade Points will only be converted to Special Upgrade Vouchers after Jun 2009. KrisFlyer members will receive details through email on the Special Upgrade Voucher(s) earned and instructions to redeem the Special Upgrade Voucher(s) online.

8. Special Upgrade Vouchers can only be used from 16 Jul 2009 and 29 Nov 2009 to upgrade mileage-accruable commercial flights booked on Singapore Airlines for travel to be completed by 30 Nov 2009.

9. Special Upgrade Vouchers cannot be used for any other purpose or during other travel periods.

10. The use of the Special Upgrade Vouchers for a flight upgrade is subject to seat availability and cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions.

11. Special Upgrade Vouchers cannot be combined with KrisFlyer miles to redeem an upgrade on Singapore Airlines.

12. KrisFlyer members can use Special Upgrade Vouchers for upgrading their redemption nominees' flights on Singapore Airlines.

13. Special Upgrade Vouchers can be used for flights upgrades from Economy Class to Business Class or from Business Class to First Class on all accruable commercial tickets purchased on Singapore Airlines. The upgraded classes will be booked on either Saver or Standard Awards.

14. Special Upgrade Vouchers cannot be used for flight upgrade to the Singapore Airlines Suites.

15. Special Upgrade Vouchers can be used online at KrisFlyer.com.

16. Each Special Upgrade Voucher is for the upgrade of one round-trip flight and can be only used once, for one passenger only. No part of the Special Upgrade Voucher can be refunded if it is used for a one-way flight or on a partially used ticket.

17. Special Upgrade Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or KrisFlyer miles.

18. KrisFlyer miles earned on the upgrade flight will be based on the original class of travel booked.

19. Change of flight date and cancellation is allowed if the ticket has been not used. Service fee of 7,500 miles / USD75 will apply if the flight date change(s) or cancellation of ticket is within 24 hours of the scheduled flight departure.
