For flights between Beijing and Phuket, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class, when available on the Beijing–Singapore sector, includes 35kg of checked baggage.

In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg, and in First Class on applicable Beijing–Singapore services it is 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while First Class and Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is confirmed on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Beijing to Phuket, once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Beijing–Singapore and Singapore–Phuket sectors, Economy Class typically offers a 32-inch seat pitch with up to 19-inch seat width. Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access on wide-body aircraft, and spacious recliner or lie-flat seating on the Boeing 737-8 MAX.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers may be able to access The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Beijing but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If your layover is at least 5.5 hours, you can consider joining an official transit tour to see highlights of Singapore without handling your checked baggage. For shorter layovers, stay airside at Singapore Changi Airport, where you will find themed gardens, rest zones, and a wide choice of dining.

Depending on your terminal, you can enjoy attractions such as indoor greenery, art installations, and relaxation areas, or book an airport hotel room for a few hours of rest between flights. Shower facilities are also available in selected lounges and pay-per-use facilities.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Phuket when flying from Beijing via Singapore (SIN) on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Beijing–Singapore and Singapore–Phuket) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Phuket is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
