For flights between Chennai and Chengdu, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class, 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares; Business Class, 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class, 1 piece up to 7kg; Business Class, 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Chennai to Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access on applicable aircraft. On the Singapore to Chengdu sector, Economy Class also offers 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch width, and Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access.

At Chennai International Airport (MAA), eligible Singapore Airlines customers may be able to access the Travel Club Lounge before departure, depending on cabin class or frequent flyer status. Lounge access is determined by your departing flight from Chennai and your membership entitlements.

During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers may access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class, KrisFlyer membership tier, and the details of the onward flight to Chengdu.

Chennai follows India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) and does not observe daylight saving time. Chengdu follows China Standard Time (UTC+8:00), also without daylight saving. Chengdu is always 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Chennai throughout the year.
