For flights between Manila and Amsterdam, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares, 30kg on Standard/Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Manila to Amsterdam once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.

Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Manila–Singapore and Singapore–Amsterdam sectors, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, providing comfortable space for your journey.

On the Manila–Singapore and Singapore–Amsterdam sectors, Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access from every seat, giving you room to work, dine, and rest. Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Manila but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable and engaging layovers, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, play zones, and a wide range of dining options. If you have at least 5.5 hours between flights, you can consider joining an official transit city tour, subject to eligibility and operating hours.

For shorter layovers, stay airside to enjoy attractions such as indoor gardens, art installations, and relaxation areas, or simply unwind in a café or at your departure gate. Airport hotels and rest facilities are also available within or near the terminals if you prefer more privacy.

Manila follows Philippine Time, which is UTC+8 and does not observe daylight saving time. Amsterdam follows Central European Time (UTC+1) in roughly November to March, and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) in roughly late March to late October.

This means Amsterdam is typically 7 hours behind Manila during the European winter, and 6 hours behind Manila during the European summer.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Manila–Singapore and Singapore–Amsterdam) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Amsterdam is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
