For Nagoya–Kolkata flights, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers enjoy a checked baggage allowance of 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance applicable to your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines services from Nagoya to Kolkata once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure to enjoy this. Non-members can purchase access plans on board.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Coverage and performance may vary slightly between the Boeing 787-10 and Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Nagoya but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join one of the official free transit tours from the airport that require a minimum layover time, often around 5.5 to 6 hours, subject to programme availability and timing. These tours give you a glimpse of the city before you continue to Kolkata.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, rest zones, a swimming pool in selected terminals, and entertainment areas where you can relax. There are also plenty of places to shower, unwind, or enjoy a quiet corner between flights.

If you prefer to refresh and reset, you can consider airport hotels or rest facilities located within or near the terminals. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.
