For flights between Penang and Bangkok, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may bring up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring one piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your specific booking is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Penang but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities that can turn your layover into part of the journey. If your connection is at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may have time to join an official transit tour of the city, subject to availability and immigration requirements.

For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and explore gardens, themed zones, rest areas, and dedicated quiet spaces across the terminals. There are also transit hotels and nap options if you prefer to rest between flights, plus shower facilities in selected areas and lounges.
