On Shanghai–Bangkok itineraries, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class customers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class customers have 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Shanghai to Bangkok once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, including those travelling in Economy Class, provided your membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.
