For flights between Cairns and Hangzhou, our weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Cairns to Hangzhou once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Cairns but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible passengers may use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is well suited to both short and longer layovers. For transits of at least 5.5–6 hours, you can consider joining one of the airport’s complimentary city tours, which offer a brief introduction to Singapore without needing to organise your own sightseeing.

If you prefer to stay airside, you will find themed gardens, quiet relaxation zones, playgrounds, and rest areas across the terminals. Selected terminals also feature entertainment zones and indoor attractions where you can stretch your legs between flights.
