For flights between Chennai and Munich, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite and Value fares, 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg for safety reasons. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chennai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be invited to the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable connections, with themed gardens, art installations, quiet rest areas, and children’s play zones across the terminals. If you have at least around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, subject to eligibility and timing.

For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and enjoy facilities such as relaxation zones, snooze areas, free movie screenings in selected terminals, and a wide choice of dining and shopping. Some terminals also offer showers and transit hotels if you would like extra rest between flights.
