For Colombo to Munich flights, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class offers 35kg of checked baggage, and Business Class offers 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Colombo but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be able to use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, subject to entry conditions.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities that make layovers comfortable and engaging. With a sufficient connection time, you may join an official free transit tour into the city, which typically requires at least around 5.5 to 6 hours of layover time.

If you prefer to stay airside, you can explore themed gardens, quiet rest areas, art installations, and entertainment zones. There are also transit hotels and shower facilities where you can refresh between flights.
