For flights between Guangzhou and Amsterdam, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class customers may check in 35kg, and Business Class customers may check in 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring one piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Guangzhou to Amsterdam once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Guangzhou but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore (SIN).

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities to make your layover comfortable, including themed gardens, quiet rest zones, and play areas. With enough time between flights, you can join one of the airport's free transit tours into the city, which typically require a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours.

For shorter connections, you can stay airside and explore the terminals, where you will find art installations, viewing galleries, and a variety of dining options. Longer layovers can be broken up with a visit to a transit hotel or spa facilities located within the airport.

Amsterdam follows Central European Time (UTC+1) in roughly November to March, and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) from late March to late October.
