For flights between Hyderabad and Xiamen, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Hyderabad to Xiamen via Singapore once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, though Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Hyderabad but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can consider joining an official transit tour into the city when available, typically requiring several hours of connection time. This allows you to see key highlights before returning for your onward flight to Xiamen.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is comfortable and convenient. Changi Airport offers themed gardens, art installations, quiet rest zones, and, in some terminals, access to facilities such as swimming pools, entertainment areas, and airport hotels for day use.
