For flights between Kolkata and Phuket, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers have 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers have 40kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board.

Eligible customers may relax in facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport, subject to their travel class and membership status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kolkata but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive amenities, including themed gardens, quiet zones, rest areas, and children’s play spaces, making shorter layovers comfortable and relaxing. You can also enjoy a variety of dining outlets and retail shops spread across the terminals.

For longer layovers of around 5.5 hours or more, you may be able to join an official transit tour of Singapore, subject to eligibility and time of day, giving you a glimpse of the city before returning to the airport. Airport hotels and nap facilities provide additional rest options during longer waits.

Kolkata follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Phuket follows Indochina Time (ICT), which is UTC+7:00 and also does not observe daylight saving time. Phuket is therefore 1.5 hours ahead of Kolkata throughout the year.
