Beverage Service
Throughout the journey, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold beverages, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, so you can savour a classic drink while you travel.

For flights between Phuket and Shenzhen, our weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is confirmed on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Phuket to Shenzhen once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Phuket–Singapore and Singapore–Shenzhen sectors operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class seats typically offer a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width. Business Class provides a fully flat bed on longer-range aircraft types, but on the Boeing 737-8 MAX you can still expect generous recline and enhanced personal space compared with Economy Class.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Phuket but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible passengers may be invited to lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities that make even shorter layovers comfortable, including indoor gardens, rest areas, and a wide choice of dining and shopping. For longer layovers of about 5.5 hours or more, you can join one of the airport’s free transit tours, which showcase highlights of the city without the need to plan your own excursion.

If you prefer to stay airside, you can relax in quiet zones, visit themed gardens, or freshen up with shower facilities available in selected areas and lounges. Families will find play areas and open spaces ideal for stretching between flights.

Phuket follows Thailand Time, which is UTC+7 and does not observe daylight saving time. Shenzhen follows China Standard Time, which is UTC+8 and also does not observe daylight saving time. This means Shenzhen is 1 hour ahead of Phuket throughout the year.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport when flying from Phuket via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Phuket–Singapore and Singapore–Shenzhen) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Shenzhen is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.

You may be able to plan a stopover in Singapore on your Phuket–Shenzhen trip, subject to your ticket conditions and availability.
