For flights between Sydney and Cebu, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and Suites or First Class 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Suites, First Class, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Sydney to Cebu once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet, on Wi-Fi-equipped aircraft. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Sydney–Singapore sector, Economy Class seats typically offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width. Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access, and on selected aircraft you can also enjoy First Class or Suites with a fully flat bed.

On the Singapore–Cebu sector, the Boeing 737-8 MAX offers Economy Class with comfortable legroom and ergonomically designed seats, and Business Class with recliner-style seating and generous space, helping you arrive feeling refreshed.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

In Singapore, eligible passengers may be able to access The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin class and status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Sydney but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities that make layovers comfortable and enjoyable. With a longer layover of around 5.5 hours or more, you can consider joining the airports official free transit tour to see highlights of the city before returning for your onward flight.

If you prefer to stay airside, you can explore themed gardens, rest areas, and art installations, or visit amenities such as relaxation zones and childrens play areas. There are also numerous dining outlets and shops across the terminals.

Cebu follows Philippines Time (UTC+8) year-round. This means Cebu is 2 hours behind Sydney during AEST, and 3 hours behind during AEDT.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Sydney–Singapore and Singapore–Cebu) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Cebu is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
