Peak season runs from October to November and March to April, when days are generally clear and mild, with typical temperatures around 15 to 25 °C (59 to 77 °F) in Kathmandu and cooler conditions in the mountains. Shoulder season includes late September and May, when temperatures in the lowlands can rise towards 30 °C (86 °F) and afternoon showers are more common, but you still enjoy good visibility on many days.
