For flights between Bangkok and Jakarta, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite and Value fares, 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while First Class and Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase connectivity plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may use facilities such as The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bangkok but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have several hours in Singapore Changi Airport, you can join the official Free Singapore Tour, which usually requires a layover of at least around 5.5 to 6 hours, allowing time for immigration, the tour, and your onward flight. This is a convenient way to see highlights of the city without managing your own transport. For shorter layovers, staying airside offers plenty to enjoy. You can explore themed gardens, rest in quiet zones, visit wellness facilities, or watch a film at airport cinemas, depending on your terminal. Bangkok follows Indochina Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving time. Jakarta follows Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7) and also does not observe daylight saving time. This means Bangkok and Jakarta are on the same time year-round, so there is no time difference between the two cities.
