For flights between Chennai and Guangzhou, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares; Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Chennai to Guangzhou once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chennai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.
