For flights between Darwin and Phuket, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: in Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, while Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Darwin to Phuket once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Darwin but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers on this route may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport, according to their entitlement.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join the official free transit tour into the city, available for passengers with a minimum layover of about 5.5 to 6 hours, subject to the programme schedule. This is a convenient way to enjoy highlights of Singapore without handling your checked baggage.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and art installations across the terminals. Depending on your terminal, you may also find cinemas, play zones, and transit hotels where you can book a room for a few hours.
