Throughout the journey, you can enjoy hot and cold drinks, including juices and soft drinks, along with a selection of alcoholic beverages. Our signature Singapore Sling is available on board for you to enjoy during your flight.

For flights between Munich and Kathmandu, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. In checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may take 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may take 35kg, and Business Class passengers may take 40kg, with each checked bag not exceeding 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance shown on your e-ticket is the one that applies, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should ensure their membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase Wi-Fi plans on board.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and general web browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Coverage and performance may vary slightly depending on the aircraft and route conditions.

On the Munich to Singapore sector operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Premium Economy Class seats provide a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width. Business Class features a fully flat bed with every seat providing direct aisle access.

On the Singapore to Kathmandu sector operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class seating is designed for comfort on medium-haul flights, and Business Class seats convert into a fully flat bed, allowing you to rest more deeply before arrival.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Eligible customers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge in Singapore Changi Airport, depending on cabin class and membership status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Munich but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is well designed for layovers, with indoor gardens, themed rest areas, and quiet zones for relaxation between flights. If your layover is at least 5.5 to 6 hours and your schedule fits the official programme, you can consider joining a free transit tour to see highlights of the city.

For shorter connections, it is best to remain airside and make use of the airport’s amenities, which include walking trails, family zones, shower facilities, and a wide range of dining options. Some terminals also have airport hotels or transit hotels where you can rest more fully.
