For flights between San Francisco and Perth, the piece concept applies for checked baggage. In Economy Class, you may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Premium Economy Class, you may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Business Class, you may check 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual piece must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from San Francisco to Perth once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from San Francisco but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers in Singapore may use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is well suited to both short and longer layovers, with themed gardens, rest areas, play zones, and a wide choice of dining. If you have at least around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may be able to join a free official transit tour into the city, subject to operating conditions.

For shorter connections, you can stay airside to explore terminals linked by skytrains and walkways, visit indoor gardens, or relax in quiet zones. Showers, transit hotels, and nap areas are available if you would like to refresh or rest between your flights.
