For flights between Seoul and Christchurch, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have an allowance of 35kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Seoul to Christchurch once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Seoul but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you can consider joining an official transit tour that lets you see highlights of the city before returning to the airport. For shorter layovers, you can stay airside, explore the terminals, enjoy dining options, or relax in one of the lounges.

Christchurch follows New Zealand Standard Time (UTC+12) from roughly late April to late September, and New Zealand Daylight Time (UTC+13) from late September to late April. This means Christchurch is usually 3 or 4 hours ahead of Seoul, depending on the time of year.
