For flights between Shanghai and New York, the piece concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. Premium Economy Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. Business Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. First Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg, and Suites is not available on this route. Each checked piece must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Shanghai to New York once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Wi-Fi is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.
