For flights between Xiamen and Surabaya, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers have 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact baggage allowance is always shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on selected aircraft once the flight is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans.

The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic web browsing. It does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers, so we recommend you download any heavy content before your journey.

On both the Xiamen–Singapore and Singapore–Surabaya sectors, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, providing good space for regional travel. Business Class features a fully flat bed on the Airbus A350-900 sector and a spacious recliner-style seat on the Boeing 737-8 MAX, with every seat designed for greater comfort and personal space.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Xiamen but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you have many ways to relax between flights. For longer layovers of around 5.5 hours or more, you can consider the official city tours that operate from the transit area, subject to eligibility and timing, to see highlights of Singapore without arranging your own transport.

For shorter connections, staying airside is very comfortable. You can explore themed gardens, quiet rest zones, children play areas, and, in some terminals, attractions such as indoor slides or entertainment zones. There are also airport hotels and snooze areas if you want to freshen up or take a nap.

Xiamen follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) and does not observe daylight saving time. Surabaya follows Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7), also without daylight saving time. This means Surabaya is 1 hour behind Xiamen throughout the year; when it is 12.00 in Xiamen, it is 11.00 in Surabaya.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:
