For flights between Auckland and Amsterdam, our weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares; Premium Economy Class passengers may check 35kg; Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights between Auckland and Amsterdam once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Auckland but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a longer connection, you can consider joining an official transit tour into the city, which generally requires a minimum layover time to participate. Amsterdam uses Central European Time (UTC+1) and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) from roughly late March to late October. In New Zealand s summer, Auckland is usually 11 or 12 hours ahead of Amsterdam depending on overlapping daylight saving periods; in New Zealand s winter, Auckland is generally 10 hours ahead.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Amsterdam is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
