For Busan–Los Angeles flights, the piece concept applies for checked baggage as the journey includes the United States. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg; Premium Economy Class passengers, where available on the Singapore–Los Angeles sector, may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg; Business Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked piece must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Busan to Los Angeles once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Los Angeles follows Pacific Time, which is UTC−8 in winter (roughly November to March) and UTC−7 in summer (roughly March to November).
