For flights between Chengdu and Ahmedabad, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: in Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, while Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

Cabin baggage: in Economy Class you may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and in Business Class you may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on the Chengdu to Singapore and Singapore to Ahmedabad sectors once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

If your connection is shorter, you can enjoy indoor gardens, rest areas, entertainment zones, and a wide choice of dining and shopping within the terminals. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

At Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU), eligible Singapore Airlines passengers may access the TFU International First Class and Business Class Lounge before boarding the Chengdu to Singapore flight. Lounge access depends on your cabin class, fare type, or frequent flyer status.

During your layover in Singapore, eligible passengers may be invited to relax in facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status. Lounge entitlements are confirmed on your boarding pass at check-in or at the lounge entrance.

Chengdu follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) all year and does not observe daylight saving time. Ahmedabad follows India Standard Time (UTC+5:30), also without daylight saving. Ahmedabad is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes behind Chengdu throughout the year, regardless of your travel month.

You will arrive from Chengdu and depart for Ahmedabad at Singapore Changi Airport, with clear signposting between transfer desks and departure gates. Follow the Transfer signs, check the flight information screens for your next gate, and allow time to enjoy terminal amenities before boarding your onward flight.

On arrival in Ahmedabad, follow signs for immigration, baggage claim, and customs. Have your passport, completed arrival forms if required, and any supporting documents ready.
