For flights between Chengdu and Amsterdam, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: in Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, and Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg, and Business Class includes 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

Cabin baggage: in Economy Class and Premium Economy Class, you may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. In Business Class, you may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Chengdu to Amsterdam once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Chengdu to Singapore Boeing 787-10 sector, Economy Class offers a 32-inch seat pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, and Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Eligible customers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chengdu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have enough time, Singapore Changi Airport offers a free official transit tour into the city for eligible passengers, typically requiring a layover of at least 5.5 to 6 hours. This can be a relaxing way to see key highlights before returning for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, rest areas, entertainment zones, and, in some terminals, facilities such as swimming pools or cinemas. You can also enjoy a wide choice of dining and shopping close to your departure gate.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Amsterdam is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.

Chengdu follows China Standard Time, which is UTC+8 and does not observe daylight saving time. Amsterdam follows Central European Time (UTC+1) from late October to late March, and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) from late March to late October. Chengdu is typically 7 hours ahead of Amsterdam in winter and 6 hours ahead in summer.
