For flights between Chongqing and Seoul, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances start from 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, you can check up to 40kg of baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances on top of the standard limits.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board.

The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing. It does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers, so we recommend planning any high-bandwidth activities for when you are on the ground.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chongqing but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of ways to spend your layover. If you have at least about 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, subject to programme availability and timing. This gives you a short introduction to Singapore before returning for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is comfortable and convenient. You will find themed gardens, relaxation zones, quiet areas, and attractions such as an indoor waterfall, as well as transit hotels if you prefer more privacy and rest.

Chongqing follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) throughout the year and does not observe daylight saving time. Seoul follows Korea Standard Time (UTC+9), also without daylight saving time. This means Seoul is 1 hour ahead of Chongqing at all times of the year.
