Beverage Service
Throughout the flight, a selection of hot and cold drinks is available, including juices, soft drinks, teas, and coffees. A range of alcoholic beverages is also offered, and you can enjoy our signature Singapore Sling on board.

For flights between Hanoi and Guangzhou, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi fares: 30kg) and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg) and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). The final allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Hanoi to Guangzhou via Singapore once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Hanoi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge before their onward flight.

Singapore Changi Airport offers many ways to spend your layover, from indoor gardens and art installations to rest areas, play zones, and a wide variety of dining options. For longer connections, you can consider using airport leisure facilities or exploring Jewel Changi Airport with its indoor waterfall, walking trails, and shops. Shorter layovers are easily filled with a quiet seat, a meal, or a refreshing shower in one of the terminal facilities. Hanoi follows Indochina Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving time. Guangzhou operates on China Standard Time (UTC+8), also without daylight saving time. Guangzhou is therefore 1 hour ahead of Hanoi throughout the year.
