For Istanbul to Chennai flights, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Premium Economy Class, it is 35kg. In Business Class, it is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. With sufficient time, you can join an official free city tour, which typically requires a layover of at least 5.5 to 6 hours.

For shorter layovers, you may prefer to stay airside and enjoy facilities such as walking trails, viewing galleries, and a wide range of dining and shopping options. Some terminals also offer snooze areas and transit hotels where you can rest.
