For flights between Phnom Penh and Jakarta, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Premium Economy Class, the allowance is 35kg. In Business Class, you can check in up to 40kg, and in First Class up to 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while First Class and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines services between Phnom Penh, Singapore, and Jakarta once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Phnom Penh–Singapore sector, Business Class on both the Boeing 737-8 MAX and Airbus A350-900 offers a fully flat bed on long-haul configurations or spacious recliner-style seats with generous pitch, and Economy Class seats provide a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width. On the Singapore–Jakarta Boeing 777-300ER sector, First Class features a fully flat bed, Business Class offers a fully flat bed with direct aisle access at every seat, Premium Economy Class provides a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width, and Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may relax in facilities such as The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule
Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Phnom Penh but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of ways to spend your layover, from themed gardens and art installations to rest areas and quiet zones for relaxation. For shorter connections, you can enjoy airport attractions, sample local snacks, or use shower facilities in selected lounges and transit hotels. For longer layovers of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may be able to join one of the airport’s official free city tours, subject to operating hours and eligibility, to see highlights of Singapore before returning to your gate. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Phnom Penh operates on Indochina Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving time. Jakarta also follows Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7) year-round without daylight saving. This means there is no time difference between Phnom Penh and Jakarta at any time of the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Phnom Penh–Singapore and Singapore–Jakarta) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Jakarta is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
